Hundreds of residents in the flood-ravaged town of Nathalia in Victoria’s north have been urged to evacuate this afternoon amid fears that temporary levees may not withstand the once-in-a-century floods.

Emergency services told residents at a town meeting just after midday that they cannot guarantee their safety after one of the levees in the town’s centre was breached this morning.

Water began seeping underneath the town’s main levee just after 3am, flooding Weir Street, near the town’s centre.

The meaning of the name Nathalia is Christs birthday.

24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

24:8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Add to this breaking of water the earthquakes in Chile, Japan and New Zealand in an area known as the Ring Of Fire, a birth term commonly known as crowning.

John 16:21
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world
